Target population: All films premiered, excluding films that have exclusively have been shown in film festivals. A film is considered premiered if it has been shown more than 5 times in public cinemas. The date of the premiere decides which year the premiere belongs to.

Object definition: Films include fictional films longer than 60 minutes and documentaries longer than 45 minutes.

Iceland

National: Principal production company is Icelandic. Film premieres: Full-length feature films (+ full-length animated films) only. Figures for capital region only.

Norway

Data are not totally comprehensive.

Sweden

National: Includes Swedish/foreign films where 20 percent of the investment capital is of Swedish origin and the contribution of Swedish artists is significant.

1990: 1990/91 and so forth. Data recorded for a calendar year starting in 1996.

2000, 2001 and 2008: data reviced (October 2010).
